Cautions for Installation and Connection of Kelong UPS Power Supply to Battery Pack
1. Kehua UPS Power Wire Connecting Battery Method and Notices
The input socket of Kehua UPS power supply should be connected with the municipal power supply, and the output socket can be connected with the computer and the display through the wiring board. For Kehua UPS power supply, its output power is divided into two parts: one is voltage stabilized plus battery output, which is used to connect computer mainframe; the other is voltage stabilized output, which is used to connect display, printer and other equipment in areas with unstable voltage.
Notes: Kehua power outlet and APC voltage stabilizer plus battery outlet are not allowed to connect to printer equipment, and all UPS power outlets are not allowed to connect to electric drills, hammers and fans. The power output socket of UPS cannot be directly connected to the input socket. UPS power supply load can not exceed 80% of its calibrated load.
2. The Role of Batteries in Kehua UPS Power Supply Host
UPS mainframe has a group of batteries, its role is to provide power for its internal control, this battery deficiency will cause the mainframe to start abnormally, such as relays can not be sucked, no power outlet, etc.
3. Normal Indicating State of Kehua UPS Power Supply
The corresponding relationship and expressive meaning of the indicator are described as follows:
A. The city power has been connected. When UPS power is turned on at the end, green 1 [city power] and load/power 5 lights are on. Green 1 light indicates that there is electricity input. Yellow 2 indicator should be bypass indicator, that is to say, the city power supply directly from the bypass to the equipment without voltage stabilization process, but the two UPS power supply we are currently using have no bypass function, Yellow 2 indicator is meaningless.
B. Turn on power supply: press ON switch button, green 1, yellow 2, load/battery and fault indicator lights are on at the same time, then load/battery, fault indicator lights are off from bottom to top one by one, load/battery 5 lights are on again; Yellow 2 lights are off after about 3S, Green 2 [inverter] lights are on, outlet power supply is on, UPS power supply enters. Normal power supply status. At this time, the load/battery lamp indicates the load power of the load, and the load should keep the load/battery 1 lamp off, as shown in Table 1.
C. Power supply status of batteries without municipal power supply:
When the city power outage, the green one lights out, indicating no city power, yellow one lights up, indicating battery power supply, at this time the load / battery lamp indicates the current capacity of the battery, and issued an alarm sound. When the battery capacity is sufficient, the alarm interval time is longer and the load/battery lamp is much brighter; when the battery capacity is insufficient, the alarm interval time is shortened and the load/battery lamp is less bright; when the load/battery is on, it means that the battery has less than 25% energy, and the alarm sound is very urgent, indicating that the power supply can not be continued. Other measures should be taken.
When the generator is used for power supply and municipal power recovery, the green 1 lamp is on, the yellow 1 lamp is off, the alarm sound stops, and the load/battery lamp indicates the load.
D. Turn off power failure: press the OFF button, turn off the green 2 lamp, power off the outlet, load/battery, fault indicator lights are all on, then load/battery, fault indicator lights are turned off one by one from bottom to top, finally load/battery 5 lamp is turned on again, green 1 lamp is kept on, UPS power supply is stopped working, battery is kept in charge state.
4. Requirements of Battery Charging and Discharging
The capacity and service time of Kehua battery is the main basis to measure the performance of Kehua UPS power supply, so it is very important to use and maintain accumulator correctly. Therefore, we require regular charging and discharging operation of batteries, because long-term charging will lead to aging of the battery plates and decrease the discharge capacity. But long-term improper charging will also lead to the problem of insufficient capacitance due to the oxidation of battery plates. Its judgment criteria are: the continuous charging time is often less than 16 hours and it is in discharge state. In case of this situation, the generator should be used to supply power in time and recharge at the same time.
The instructions require charging and discharging once every 3 months to 4 months. According to the summary of usage, it is suggested that the Kehua UPS power supply should be discharged once a month, not more than 2 months at most, so that the battery life can be prolonged appropriately. The method is to cut off the power input of UPS during the day when someone is on duty, and use the battery to drive the computer host and display to work normally through the UPS power supply inversion until the load/battery 1 light is on, the load/battery 2 light just goes out and the alarm sound of the UPS power host becomes more urgent, then restore the power supply. The normal course is 3 hours.
If local power outages occur more than once a week for a long time, and UPS batteries are used to supply power to the situation that the outage will [alarm sound is short] or has been stopped, no discharge operation is needed. If the generator is used to supply power in a short time after the outage, it is suggested that the discharge operation should be carried out. If personnel and conditions permit, the outage can be used. Time for discharge operation.
5. General fault indication status of Kehua UPS power supply
Under the municipal electricity mode:
A. Green 1 lamp flickers, the table calculates the zero-fire line of the municipal electricity input, and the UPS power supply can still work in the municipal electricity mode. The two lines of the municipal electricity input should be aligned.
B. Green 1 lamp flashes, while yellow 1 lamp lights up, indicating that the voltage or frequency of municipal power or generator exceeds the normal range, and UPS power supply operates in battery mode.
C. Yellow 1 indicator flashes, indicating that UPS power supply is not connected to the battery or the battery voltage is too low. At this time, check whether the battery is connected properly and make sure that the connection is correct. This indicates that the battery failure or battery aging should be eliminated or replaced.
D. If the load exceeds 96%, the buzzer will buzz once every 0.5 seconds. At this time, the load should be reduced, and the useless equipment should be closed or cancelled.
Battery mode: Battery power supply, battery power loss, load/battery 2, yellow 1 light, buzzer will gradually become long-ringing.
The output will be cut off automatically, and the UPS power supply will be shut down automatically.
Abnormal mode: The fault indicator lights up during operation, indicating that UPS power supply is in abnormal mode. At this time, all loads should be cut off, the equipment should be connected to other power supply lines first, the Kehua UPS power supply should be closed, the fault phenomenon should be reported to the maintenance personnel of automatic station, waiting for professional personnel to deal with, and power supply should not continue without fault.
